Fourth Group Assignment

And here we are with our fourth assignment, which was all about the Valentine`s day and invitations.

Our assignment was to design the Valentine`s day invitation. And that means that we had to decide who is the sender, who is the receiver, we had to choose design for the invitation on Evite website and write an invitation text.

We started the assignment with collecting the ideas about our party and we came to the conclusion that we don`t want tradicional Valentine`s day party. The original idea for a party was "We hate Valentine`s day party".

Not everybody is in love or have a partner but still wants to go out, hang out and maybe even feel special on Valentine`s day.  So we tried to change the perception that Valentine`s day is only for couples and fancy dates with flowers and chocolate.

We think that chosen design fits the purpose of our group, because it gives an impression of a nice party without looking depressing.

Our party is about meeting new people, making friends and having fun, without any pressure just because it`s Valentine`s day and your relationship status says you`re single. It`s for people who are active and life-loving but maybe not interested to have a romantic Valentine's day.
